The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers. British Canoeing
British Canoeing, formerly known as the British Canoe Union is a national governing body for canoeing in the United Kingdom, established in 1936 as the British Canoe Union. In 2000 it federalised to become the umbrella organisation for the home nation associations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. In 2015 it took on the name British Canoeing and amalgamated the former BCU, Canoe England and GB Canoeing.
British Taekwondo
British Taekwondo is a member of World Taekwondo. British Taekwondo is also a member of the British Olympic Association and the European Taekwondo Union. It was established in 1982 and is the National Governing Body for World Taekwondo in the United Kingdom. Its functions include responsibility for the selection of National Teams to compete at International and Olympic level.
